On Wednesday, January 27th, students started with the creation of the youth art community in Genk. Once they have graduated, these students from the University College Leuven-Limburg can work as arts educator in youth worker.
First they were introduced by Reinhard on youth work in Genk. Reinhard has extensive experience as a youth worker and is an employee of Villa Basta.
Then we took a walk through the city of Genk.
Finally, we brainstormed about possible opportunities for youth and art in public space.
